StockInto helps individual investors quickly vet a stock against time-tested investment philosophies before making a decision. "Would Warren Buffett buy this?", "Does it pass Graham's margin of safety test?" — we answer in under one second.

We collect 30+ financial metrics (PER, PBR, ROE, debt-to-equity, revenue growth, etc.) for 5,000+ listed companies in the US and Korea, then score each stock against the criteria of five legendary investors. Results are presented as A through F grades, plus the underlying data so you can verify our reasoning.

• US stocks — Yahoo Finance (prices, 15-20 min delayed) + SEC EDGAR (financials, TTM 10-K/10-Q self-calculated)
• Korean stocks — FinanceDataReader (KRX prices) + DART OpenAPI (financial statements). yfinance is intentionally not used for Korean stocks due to data quality issues.
• News — Naver Search API (Korean) for relevant market signals
• Sector benchmarks — 11 sectors with custom thresholds (technology, financial services, healthcare, energy, etc.)

StockInto is a personal project built and operated by an individual investor with 7 years of personal investing experience.

✍ Why I built this

When my own conviction wasn't strong enough, I'd turn to Warren Buffett's quantitative criteria and run the analysis myself. But every time, pulling DART filings, calculating PER and ROE, organizing five-year trends, and comparing them to sector averages — all of it was tedious.

I also realized that my own style doesn't always align with Buffett's principles, and that evaluating a stock through one master's lens alone wasn't enough. Looking at the same stock through Graham, Lynch, O'Neil, and Fisher's frameworks revealed different angles, and this multi-perspective comparison genuinely helped my judgment.

From these two motivations — to reduce the tedium and see all five perspectives at once — I built and published a tool that translates the quantitative criteria of five legendary investors into code.
